Celox Rapid is a hemostatic bandage for temporary control of massive bleeding. It is used for packing deep wounds and can be used as part of personal first aid kits, IFAKs, medical backpacks, and tactical medicine sets.

The key feature of Celox Rapid is the Chito-R™ technology - activated chitosan granules applied to the surface of the bandage. Upon contact with blood, the granules form a gel-like barrier that promotes rapid bleeding control and reduces the required compression time to 60 seconds or until bleeding stops.

The compact Z-fold format allows the bandage to be quickly deployed and wound packing performed under time-critical conditions. Celox Rapid is used for managing massive bleeding of various origins and is included among modern bleeding control tools in tactical medicine.
