The Tactical CricKit® is the result of 18 months of engagement with military medical professionals around the world. Phase 1 of the project was to define the functional requirements for performing a surgical cricothyroidotomy in a tactical environment. Phase 2 was to begin developing a small, easy-to-use kit that focused on intuitive learning. The result of these efforts is the Tactical CricKit®.

The Tactical CricKit® provides the operator with all the necessary tools to perform a proper cricothyroidotomy in a compact, durable package, and is the ideal kit for performing cricothyroidotomy in austere conditions. For convenience during both training and shooting, its components are provided in the proper order of use. Once deployed, the Tactical CricKit's 500-day pouch provides a clean work surface for the operator, making it suitable for use in low-light conditions and on the battlefield. The Tactical Crickit also provides the user with the ideal sized and length tracheal tube along with a secondary reprocessing locking device and CASEVAC. To combat microbial contamination, the Tactical CricKit® comes with alcohol wipes for immediate disinfection and a message for long-term protection.
