BLOOD SAVER Hemostatic Dressing (20х20 cm)

BLOOD SAVER is a highly effective Ukrainian-made medical product designed for the rapid control of external bleeding. The dressing is based on active hemostatic components and can help stop bleeding within minutes. Thanks to its compact size and sealed packaging, it is an essential component of individual first aid kits, including home, tactical, and vehicle kits.

Key Features and Composition:

Active ingredient: a chemical hemostatic compound based on kaolin. When in contact with a wound, kaolin activates the body's natural blood clotting process (the coagulation cascade), promoting the rapid formation of a stable blood clot.

Format: sterile 20х20 cm dressing in vacuum-sealed packaging.

Safety: BLOOD SAVER components provide hemostatic, antiseptic, and wound-healing properties. Instructions for application and removal are printed on the package.

Directions for Use:

1. Assess the bleeding and determine whether a hemostatic agent is required.
2. Tear open the package using any of the designated notches and remove the hemostatic dressing.
3. Apply the dressing directly to the source of bleeding and maintain firm pressure for 3–5 minutes or until the bleeding has completely stopped.
4. Secure the dressing in place using adhesive tape, a dressing, or a standard bandage.
5. Reassess the bleeding. If bleeding continues, apply an additional pressure dressing over the wound or use another hemostatic product.

Removal Instructions:

1. Carefully remove the hemostatic dressing from the wound.
2. Thoroughly rinse the wound with water or sterile saline solution.

Important Warnings and Limitations:

• For external use only.
• Open the package immediately before use. If the package is damaged or already opened, sterility cannot be guaranteed and the product should not be used for its intended purpose.
• Single-use only. Do not reuse. Re-sterilization is not possible.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Do not use for intimate hygiene purposes.
