The IGAR silicone medical dressing is a sterile multi-layer dressing designed for the protection and management of wounds with moderate or low exudate levels. Thanks to the combination of a polyurethane base, absorbent layer, and silicone contact coating, it not only protects the damaged area but also maintains optimal conditions for the healing process.

The dressing construction consists of three functional layers. The top layer of polyurethane film creates a barrier against external contaminants while allowing the skin to breathe. The middle layer of soft polyurethane foam absorbs and retains exudate, helping to maintain an optimal wound environment. The bottom silicone layer provides gentle adhesion and allows the dressing to be removed with a reduced risk of skin trauma.

The dressing is used for post-operative wounds, abrasions, superficial burns, early-stage pressure injuries, and other non-infected skin damage.
