Occlusive Dressing Russell™ Chest Seal

The Russell™ Chest Seal is designed for sealing penetrating chest wounds and is used as part of emergency and tactical medicine supplies. The construction features a low-profile valve with four channels for venting air and fluids, allowing wound sealing to be maintained during transport and care delivery.

The dressing base is a multi-layer hydrogel system with a continuous adhesive surface that provides reliable skin adhesion and adapts to the contours of the chest. An additional non-woven layer and silicone coating increase the flexibility of the construction and help the dressing maintain its shape during use.

The large central aperture allows visual confirmation of dressing placement over the wound and simplifies application. The low-profile design takes up minimal space in a first aid kit or medical set.
