BRONYX Large Level 5 Armor Plate Set

The BRONYX Large Level 5 set includes two armor plates designed for use in plate carriers and body armor systems. The plates combine advanced composite materials, an ergonomic shape, and a high level of ballistic protection in accordance with DSTU 8782:2018 requirements.

The plate construction is based on silicon carbide (SiC) and ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). The ceramic layer is designed to disrupt and break down the projectile, while the polyethylene backing captures fragments and projectile remnants while helping distribute impact energy across a larger surface area.

The standardized Shooter's Cut profile with beveled upper corners improves mobility and compatibility with modern plate carriers. A dual-axis anatomical curvature (3D Multi Curved) allows the plates to better conform to the shape of the chest, improving comfort during extended wear.

The plates meet Level 5 protection requirements under DSTU 8782:2018 and provide protection against 7.62 × 39 mm armor-piercing incendiary rounds (57-БЗ-231), 7.62 × 54 mm LPS rounds (57-Н-232с), as well as threats covered by lower protection levels, fragments, shrapnel, and ricochets.
