Class 2 Ballistic Packages 40x15

Soft ballistic package of protection class 2 is a critically important element of equipment designed to preserve the life and health of a soldier. The insert is used in body armor, plate carriers and protection modules to provide a reliable anti-fragmentation barrier.

Material features:

Our protective elements are made using modern ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE). Unlike outdated Kevlar analogues, this material is not afraid of moisture and has a significantly lower weight with the same protection area.

The material is obtained using a unique gel-spinning process. This allows you to create fibers with incredible tensile strength that effectively absorb the kinetic energy of a bullet or fragment, distributing it over the entire area of ​​​​the package.

Ballistic package class 2: standards and tests:
These packages comply with the 2nd protection class according to DSTU 8782:2018.

What does this mean in practice?

1. Bulletproof: The package is able to withstand a 7.62x25 mm bullet (TT pistol).
2. Fragmentation resistance: Protects against secondary impact elements, fragments of concrete, glass and soil.

In addition to the Ukrainian standard, ballistic package class 2 demonstrates high performance according to international standards. The V-50 impact speed according to the NATO STANAG 2920 standard is 640 m/s. This confirms the high effectiveness of the product in real combat conditions against high-speed fragments.
