The SHLYACH knotted tourniquet is adaptable and equally highly effective in use for a wide range of pelvic circumference sizes – from 68 cm to 140 cm. This makes it possible to have one universal device available and successfully use it both to provide assistance to fragile women and stocky men, or people with excess weight.

Due to the unique technology of wrapping the belt through the slots of the compression element, when twisting the tourniquet mechanism, the necessary compression is achieved along the entire circumference of the victim’s pelvis and at the same time the displacement of the compression element relative to the pressure zone is made impossible, which ensures the stability of the system during extreme conditions of evacuation of the victim.

The innovative telescopic mechanism of the knotted tourniquet in combination with the anatomically determined shape of the compression element shows high efficiency of successful impositions and ease of its use. The design allows you to quickly and effortlessly create pressure, automatically fixing it, and the calibrated area and shape of the compression element ensures permanent occlusion of the blood flow.
