SAM Chest Seal occlusive film without valve (double pack)

SAM Chest Seal occlusive film without a valve (double pack) is a transparent sticker used for chest wounds (gunshot, knife, shrapnel). It is applied to wounds to seal and prevent air from entering the chest (pneumothorax) or anything that could damage the pleural cavity of the chest.

In the package there are two films, in case of a through wound, to cover the holes from all sides.

This occlusive patch does not have a valve, but there is a possibility of opening the wound for its ventilation, and subsequent hermetic closure. This is achieved thanks to the hydrogel glue, which has excellent adhesion to any surface (adhesion).

The film has a diameter of 18 cm, which means that it can be applied to wounds of large diameters - up to 15 cm. It is sterile and has a shelf life of 6 years from the date of manufacture. The date of manufacture is marked on each package.

SAMChestSeal is used by NATO countries in their first aid kits.
